Welcome to my world! This website is but a tiny sampling of who I am and my creative work. Stay for a while, feel right at home, look around, buy a book or two. It is, after all, how I make a living.
I’m an author. I write books and stories that deal with things that are important to me, family, relationships, everyday life of regular people in unexpected situations. Mostly contemporary, inspiring feel-good fiction with unconventional, but always hopeful or happy endings. It’s what I like to read myself. I write because I don’t have a choice, new stories, interesting characters keep bubbling to the surface from the depths of my subconscious. My books are readily available from e.g. Amazon, but also from dozens of other online outlets and well-stocked bookstores and libraries around the world.
I’m a queer author. But I’m also a man in his “best years”. (aren’t we always?), father, husband, and friend. I’m married to the most amazing man, Alex, a social worker, and an executive manager for the city of Gothenburg. Together we have a beautiful eight-year-old son, Sascha, three cats, and a bunch of fish. We live in a small house on an island in the Gothenburg archipelago, car-free and mostly carefree…
I consider myself a citizen of the world, having lived on two continents and traveled extensively through another four. Travel is still one of my great passions (despite the ongoing pandemic) and a frequent source of inspiration in my writing.
When I’m not writing, I like to do public speaking or I work as a training executive or I help tourists discover my city.
I’m an author. But I’m also an activist, be it on behalf of my siblings in the LGBTQ+ community around the world who are denied their civil or even human rights, or be it on behalf of poets & writers who are oppressed by the regimes of the nations they live in. I am a proud member of these professional writers’ organizations:
Thanks for dropping by. Enjoy your stay and welcome back!
